Preservation/Adaptive Reuse – Executive Conference Center – Bayport, MN

Our project architect introduced Sandra to our project team early on in the design and planning process. She had the high level credentials, experience and talent we needed to work with on our treasured and sensitive renovation project. Sandra attended our weekly multi-disciplinary project team meetings for many months which included our corporate executives, project managers, construction contractors, engineers and architects.

Sandra brought sensitivity to the details that were important to us in this adaptive reuse from a private residence for the Andersen family to an executive conference for Andersen Corporation. She contributed with excellence to the development of the design from space planning, lighting plans and specifications, paint colors, speciality wall treatments and select architectural millwork details.

Sandra also worked carefully to select furniture, oriental rugs, collectibles and artwork from the Andersen heirlooms for reupholstery and refinishing as needed. She also had restored a pair of crystal chandeliers and a pair of wall sconces imported from France by the Andersens. Sandra selected and specified many new furniture, fabrics and oriental rugs to incorporate into the interior along with the many family heirlooms.

We appreciated Sandra's attention to detail, follow through and dedication to incorporating the Andersen's values of simplicity and elegance throughout the interior.
