I met Sandra through a professional women’s mentorship group. After learning about what services an interior designer delivers for homeowners I got to thinking, well I need her services right now.

Sandra made a weekend visit, with my husband and I, to our under construction and remote (off the grid) cabin where we began to discuss our interior spaces, details, finish materials.  Upon our request Sandra spoke about the design options, possibilities and ideas for two whole days.  From top to bottom she measured and offered up solutions, ideas, and sketches.  Because we had built our small simplified cabin without a floor plan by the end of the weekend we had learned we really needed a floor plan to move forward. 

Sandra taught us a lot and gave us a lot to think about and get excited about building again come spring season.  Sandra’s creativity, eye for detail and her talent in the use of color has paved the way for us to build on her ideas for creating our delightful cabin in the woods.  A set of floor plans for furniture plans, a custom painted MDF wood wave frieze she designed, and had cut with a CNC machine, wraps the perimeter walls with classic pattern, color and Scandinavian whimsy, a well planned kitchen cabinetry plan, wall mounted shelves for decorative collectibles, custom made plaid curtains and countless other details all are integrated together.

We are especially thankful for her how she tied all of the rooms together with consistent use of materials, details and color.  Sandra has been a delight to work with and a excellent resource for how to make our home a dream come true.
